SKUNK ON A WINDY MORNING

Because of their nocturnal habits I rarely see a skunk during the day. On this particular morning I came across a young one foraging only a few feet from the edge of the road...

Skunks are great "mousers" and entertaining to watch, just don't get too close. When they start stomping their front feet, and raise their tail, it is time to back off.
